A tiny Python script and a GitHub Actions workflow. You add your Gemini key, it emails you a report every Monday with what Google’s AI says about your category. $19 one-time, runs forever on your own account.
You get a tiny GitHub repo. Add your free Gemini key as a secret, edit one JSON file. Monday mornings, you get a report.
“Use this template” on your own GitHub. One Python file, no dependencies, no accounts to create besides a free Google AI Studio key.
config.jsonYour brand, your competitors, your 5 prompts. Examples included. Commit.
GitHub Actions runs at 08:00 UTC, generates an HTML report, mails it to you. Also saved as a workflow artifact for free week-over-week history.
Does Gemini name you? If yes, at what position and in what context. If no, who it named instead.
For each prompt, which of your 3 competitors Gemini mentioned alongside — or without — you.
“Up two positions”, “dropped from mention to not”. The one number that tells you if things moved.
The actual two or three sentences, so you can judge how it describes you — not just whether.
When Gemini doesn’t mention you, a one-line suggestion for where to publish a page that might change that.
V1 tracks Gemini only. Not ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity — those cost per call. More engines when revenue allows it, and only then.
No seats, no “Enterprise, call us”, no credit-card-to-start trials. Pay once, read your Monday email for life.
One-time. Launching this week.
First 20 reservations get the $19 price. Drop a one-line comment on the GitHub issue; you'll get the Gumroad link back within 24 h and only pay if you still want it after seeing the sample.
Because API calls to OpenAI, Anthropic and Perplexity cost real money per report, and I’m launching with zero budget. Gemini has a generous free tier, so I can keep the lifetime price at $19. Once there’s revenue, I’ll add engines — existing buyers get them included.
Honest answer: no, one engine is not everything. But Google Gemini also powers Google’s AI Overviews, which replace organic clicks on billions of searches. Tracking Gemini is tracking the search engine most of your prospects still start their day on. ChatGPT visibility matters too — it’s on the roadmap.
Profound starts around $500 a month and shut off its starter plan in September. Otterly starts at $29 a month and charges extra for Gemini specifically. AskVisible is $19 one-time, Gemini-first. If your budget is "I just want to see if Google’s AI knows I exist", this is for you.
Then the report tells you so, every week, with the actual snippet of what it says instead. Each report also includes one “fix hint” — the kind of page or citation that might change that. No guarantees, but at least you’ll know where you stand.
As soon as you’ve set up the repo and triggered the workflow once (there’s a “Run workflow” button in the Actions tab). After that, every Monday at 08:00 UTC.
Three reasons: (1) your API key stays on your account — I never see your prompts or your usage. (2) It keeps the price at $19 forever instead of “$19/mo until I run out of margin”. (3) The repo is yours — if I vanish tomorrow, your reports keep landing on Monday.
You need a GitHub account and you need to be comfortable clicking “New Secret” and editing a JSON file. If you’ve ever deployed a static site, you’ll be done in 10 minutes. If “git” is a foreign word, this isn’t for you yet.
One person, in public, on a weekend. If you want the full build log, follow @kaiversum on Bluesky.
If the first report lands in your inbox and you hate it, email back and I’ll refund you. No forms, no process.
